Did you know that the first number of a container number can tell you the size of the container?

• Container Numbers that start with 4 and above are usually 40' units.

• There are one-off cases where a 40' unit may start with 0.

• Container Numbers that start with 0, 1, 2 and 3 are usually 20' units.

HOWEVER, you must always check this against the Bill of Lading or on the respective shipping line’s website as this is not a guarantee!
